Wound Wing (Lock 1)

 

You Recieve the coin for GLOVES from Wound box(es)

Tier 1 & Tier 2:

Map of paths thru the lanes: MAP

  Note: the red lane is the left lane, green is right (based on facing them).

To start the event, 6 people must stand on each of the 6 platforms in the starting room.

Trash:

Types -

  1. 4k armored wights - nothing special.
  2. 8k bald wights - drop poison clouds, give wound that AoE stuns on expiration.
  3. 8k shadow wargs - thier corruption increases their incoming damage, dont remove it.
  4. 17k renewer wights - remove their heal corruption.

Going Thru the Lanes:

Right Lane (Green) -

  • Kill one #1.
  • Wait for Center lever to open your first door.
  • Kill two #3s, pull first lever.
  • Up the hall kill one #4 and two #2s.
  • Wait for Left lever to open your second door.
  • Kill two #1s, pull second lever.

Center Lane (Blue) -

  • Kill one #1, pull first level.
  • Same location, kill one #3 and two #1s.
  • Wait for Left lever to open your first door.
  • Kill two #3s, pull second lever.
  • Up the hall kill one #4 and one #2.
  • Wait for Right lever to open your second door.

Left Lane (Red) -

  • Kill ???
  • Wait for Right lever to open your first door.
  • Pull first lever.
  • Kill two #3s.
  • Up the path kill two #2s.
  • Wait for Center lever to open your second door.
  • Kill two #3s, pull second lever.

The final room for each lane also contains 2-3 assorted mobs as well.

Once in the final room, you will kill the adds, then take the Mammoth down about 20%.

Boss:

Map of key spawns, group location, and kite path area: MAP

     Notes: You enter this room from the top of the map. The exit door is at the bottom center. The yellow lines simply represent the walls of the room (they are hard to distinguish on the map otherwise).

Trash Types -

  1. 4k armored wights - nothing special.
  2. 8k bald wights - drop poison clouds, give wound that AoE stuns on expiration.
  3. 17k renewer wights - remove their heal corruption ASAP.
  4. 21k Warden - Interrupt immediately on spawn (they will summon additional adds). They also drop fear clouds.

Strategy:

  • No one should DPS the mammoths until each of the groups have broken into the final room.  
  • Ideally you will want a single tank kiting all three mammoths.
    • If you had a champ tanking in a lane, they can use ebbing ire onto the preferred tank.
    • If your main tank is a guard they can use Challenge the Darkness and/or Engage to help get the other mammoths.
  • TIER 2 - On tier 2, each mammoth will periodically put an eye over a random person. When this happens they will chase the person with the eye for ~30s.
  • The mammoths should be kited in a triangle pattern as indicated on the map above. (people with the eyes should also use this pattern as well).
  • The remainder of the group should be grouped fairly tight near the exit door. (green hexagon on the map). This allows use of AoE skill more efficiently.
  • Your Main Assist will choose a single mammoth, everyone will assist until Adds spawn.
  • No one should be DPSing the mammoths while their are adds up.
  • Once adds are down, back on the same mammoth.
  • Rinse and Repeat.
  • Mammoth Mechanics:
    • Refer to the map above for spawn locations.
    • Refer to the notes on adds above for important instructions.
    • At every 20% level on each mammoth (starting at 60% since 80% was when they break out) a group of adds will spawn.
      1. At 60% (~35k on T1) A Renerwer will spawn in the center of the red carpet, along with various other adds.
      2. At 40% (~23k on T1) A Warden will spawn right next to the exit door, along with various other adds.
      3. At 20% (~12k on T1) A Warden spawns by the door, AND a Renewer spawns at the far end of the carpet near where you came in, along with various other adds.
    • For Tier 1 and Tier 2 (non-challenge) make sure you kill all adds before DPSing the Mammoth again.

 

Tier 2 Challenge:

The Challenge mode quest requires that you complete the ENTIRE event, including the lanes and ALL ADDS, in no more than SEVEN MINUTES.

From what I have seen/heard, The most common method of completing this is to have 2-3 ranged DPS stay on the mammoths the whole fight. Everyone else needs to be able to AoE down the adds before the next set is spawned.

 

 

Additional information:

Mammoth Lanes:

  • Left - Dungarth
  • Center - Vark
  • Right - Kaveran

Lever Order:

  • The first Center lever opens the first Right lane door.
  • The first Right lever opens the first Left lane door.
  • The first Left lever opens the first Center lane door.
  • The second Center lever opens the second Left door.
  • The second Left lever opens the second Right door.
  • The second Right lever opens the second Center door.

Tips for the Lanes:

  • There are no breaks during the entire wing. Buff/eat prior to beginning.
  • It is helpful to break the raid into 3 (balanced) groups of 4. It may be helpful to have assists for each group.
  • The left lane tends to need the most DPS. Center is second, Right is typically easiest.
  • While in the lanes, fight the mobs where they stand. By running past them you waste valuable DPS time waiting for them to come to you.
  • Always click your lever as soon as possible. Most of the levers are not usable in combat. DO NOT drag mobs past a lever, kill them, pull the lever, THEN move on.
